Pacara Earpod Tree (Enterolobium contortisiliquum) is a tropical flowering tree of the Fabaceae family. It is known for its uniquely-shaped seed pods which rattle in the breeze from the branches of the tree. It is native to Brazil, but grows in parts of Florida in the United States. It is also sold as a tropical ornamental tree for gardens and landscapes worldwide.

There have been many cases of poisoning in Brazil involving cattle, goats, sheep, and horses who have ingested the pods which have fallen from the tree into their pasture.

The tree's pods contain saponins, which are toxic, causing hepatic necrosis in horses.
