Superoxide Dismutase

Superoxide dismutases (SOD), also known as orgotein, are enzymatic antioxidant defenses which catalyze the dismutation of superoxide ions into oxygen and hydrogen peroxide. Studies in other animal species and humans have shown some beneficial effects of SOD supplementation, however research shows little effect of supplementation in horses.
